meh

oh, it's been quite a day. or morning, i should say. it's just been one of those days where you feel like you can't do anything right. this was brought about because today, i had 54 beginning string students crammed into a room big enough for an orchestra maybe HALF that size for their FIRST EVER orchestra rehearsal and i swear, i'm still recovering. there are just SO MANY of them. they played well and i love them like crazy, but man...the first rehearsal is always the worst. here's hoping we all have ourselves a bit more together and organized (myself mostly) by next week's rehearsal.

i just ate two reese's peanut butter cups. my after school lesson is canceled today, which means $20 less in my bank account, but it also means i get to leave work at 4:00 instead of 4:30 so i'm not really complaining. my plan is to go straight home, make some tea, read until i fall asleep and then wake up to watch the first game of the world series over at tracy & sarah's place.
